At DK we are always proud of the successes of our teams and players as they make their way through their Rugby careers. Some starting as young as 4 and there are players still turning out in their 60’s.

But Rugby is more than that, when the RFU introduced the Core Values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship it stated:

“The game has, through its values, a uniting force. It helps to build characters. The social aspects of the game must not be understated, and these have great benefits for local communities and society in general. The game is a way of life.”

In the youth section we actively encourage this ethos, that Rugby is not just a sport but a model for life. This transfer of values couldn’t be better displayed than in this photo.

3 Young men starting out on their careers, all 3 came up through the DK youth section and have gone on to play senior rugby and have now graduated from Worcester University.

Congratulations from all at DK
