Preview of Week 11 in M1W
Preview of week 11 in M1W, there were some surprises in week 10 and our success rate as pundits took a hit, and week 11 also as some interesting match ups.
There is a Friday night game, the Constable Dai game DK V Old Halesonians, Dai insists on no predictions, but it will be a local derby, and carry that extra edge with it.
Once again Neil and I have a large degree of agreement, and only differ on one game that being:
Worcester v Malvern: A look at the table shows the importance of this game to both clubs, they are also within local derby range. A win for Worcester wides the gap to the bottom three and Malvern will want to close it from the present 7 points. So with all that and current form, Neil has gone with the home win and I’ve gone for Malvern, to upset that form.
We agree on the rest, but there were some close calls, especially after our poor showing last weekend.
Bromsgrove v Stourbridge Lions: Home win ‘grove for us, Lions are struggling at the moment and a trip to Finstall Park is not what they need. Though, an eye on the bonus points in this one, they may prove important in April.
Droitwich v Stoke: Away Win, this may seem to go against current form, but we both expect SoT to tur their form around, so hence the away win.
Hereford v Newbold on Avon: Away win, both teams had disappointing results last weekend and will looking for an improved performance I am sure. Though, we both expect, NoA to have the game to test Hereford, and secure the win.
Longton V Moseley Oak: Away win, mainly on the back of Oak’s performance at Hereford, a must win for both clubs though.
Whitchurch v Sutton Coldfield: Home win, Whitchurch are fourth and have done well so far this season. We expect a tight game, but we feel that those small factors that feed into a positive result are with Whitchurch. Fifth place Sutton will be out to close in on Whitchurch, and will be up for this one.
