Review of Week 11 in M1W
Review of week 11 in M1W, a better week for us both Neil scored in the game we disagreed on and we got one over wrong.
We have got our combined 100 up this week, we are now 100 out of 132 correct, and the coins we toss in the air must be good.
To Start of Friday night:
DK 22 Old Halesonians 24: A hard fought local derby, with the result in doubt to the very end, with DK ruing missed conversions, but the two bonus points, were welcome for DK.
We disagreed on:
Worcester 21 Malvern 5: This was another one for Neil, he is slowly pulling back my early lead, Worcester have climbed the table during the last few weeks and are now up to 9th. Malvern, need to find their scoring touch, they are now 10 points off 11th place Droitwich.
Next, the game we got wrong:
Longton 39 Moseley Oak 14: I think we both overreacted to Oak’s away win at Hereford last week, a good win for Longton, but they’re off to NoA next week. Back to reality for Oak, and both have difficult games coming up in December.
We agreed on the remaining games and got them correct.
Bromsgrove 61 Stourbridge Lions 14: Pure form this one ‘grove are looking good in the league at the moment, Lions have slipped lately but will be looking to have a better December.
Droitwich 38 Stoke on Trent 41: We did predict an away win for this one; both teams have pulled away from the bottom three with this result.
Hereford 8 Newbold on Avon 10: A much closer result than we thought it would be, and it looks like both clubs will be looking for a good December, to steady the ship and get ready for 2019.
Whitchurch 15 Sutton Coldfield 3: Another win for Whitchurch, they must be pleased with their first 11 games and Sutton will be pleased to be further up the table than this time last year, but they will be disappointed to take no points from this game.
